Creepy

Boston's Boylston St. subway station, located next to the Common, was constructed in 1897, making it the oldest subway stations in the US.

American horror, fantasy and science fiction author, H.P.Lovecraft's (1890-1937) story
"The Pickman's Model", mentions a fictional painting in which monsters "were clambering up from some unknown catacomb through a crack in the floor of the station and attacking a crowd of people on the platform."

I didn't have to use this line during my short visit to Boston this spring, but
now I wish I had. I'll make it a point to ride it next time I'm in town.

Clickety clack, clickety clack...
